eQUITY link is a resource and training site designed to build the language skills of healthcare service providers working in diverse healthcare systems. The purpose is to answer the question “Where do I start and how do I do it?” asked by healthcare managers who want to improve their French-language service delivery.

VMDAS Hub for Engagement and Wellness
A place to gather, connect, collaborate and care for the Vancouver Medical, Dental and Allied Staff Association (VMDAS) members. They are encouraged to use the space for informal meetings with other VMDAS members. The Vancouver Physician Staff Association (VPSA) hosts events in the space including its monthly Physician Appreciation Lunch. Members are encouraged to contact VPSA with ideas for additional events and workshops that could be hosted in the hub. It is open 24/7.
Well-being Champion Program
This program aims to foster local communities of well-being by supporting chapter members, practices, and organizations in addressing burnout and the conditions that create it. The Champions, who are trained ACP members passionate about ensuring the health and well-being of their colleagues, strive to reach this goal through a variety of approaches tailored to the needs of the chapter and its members.
Confronting the Invincibility Myth in Health care
This study involved semistructured interviews with 22 faculty physicians working in Canada. It focused on their experiences of wellness and burnout, their perceptions of wellness initiatives, and how their experiences and perceptions influence their uptake of the rapidly proliferating strategies aimed at nurturing their resilience. Participants denounced the “Invincibility Myth” in which physicians are expected to be “superhuman” and “sacrifice everything” for medicine.
